I have loved everything and everyone at Marshall since my first day at USC! During my freshman year, I traveled to Beijing with the Global Leadership Program (GLP), a very eye-opening and inspirational experience. I also interned in Shanghai this last summer at a company called GreenTree. I joined MBSG during my first semester and it has been my favorite activity ever since! My goal is to hear the student voice and create initiatives that will support and benefitMarshall Students. In my free time, I love eating yummy desserts and spending time with my amazing parents, sisters, and cousins. Feel free to come up to me anytime you see me on campus if you have any ideas for changes or new initiatives you would like to see implemented at Marshall or even if you just want to say hi!

About Janet

Hello! I am currently a Marshall senior, graduating May 2012. Throughout my time at USC, I've been involved with LACI, MBSG, Global Business Brigades, and JEP-- and fortunately found a semester to squeeze in a study abroad in France! I was born in South Korea and lived in Thailand and Indonesia before moving to the United States at the age of 8. I specialized in violin performance at the Orange County High School of the Arts, and had the privilege of performing in Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House. Upon graduation, I will be working for Apple in Cupertino, taking part in their Finance Development Program. MBSG was a tool for me to gain more insight into the Marshall community, and I hope it will continue to serve its students at Marshall.

I have always enjoyed exploring the city of Los Angeles through cultural diversions, food, and hikes. Being a Trojan has opened so many opportunities for myself, I could not imagine going to university anywhere else.
